Can Anyone say HUGE?

Yes, huge is how I feel - and look! I have not taken any pictures the last couple of weeks and we got a few taken on Sunday and I about fell out when I saw how big my pregnant belly is! No wonder my doctor laughs at how big my belly is! She said I simply have a "big belly" as she put it. Well thanks Doc! We are at week 37, going on 38. I can't believe the pregnancy is almost over and I'm about to see my little baby face to face. I'm so excited and scared at the same time. But with God's help, Butch and I will be the parents He has called us to be.

I do want to thank everyone for their prayers and support during the past couple of weeks. As many of you know, my grandpa passed away on Easter and it's been very difficult for me. Rylan would have been his first great-grandchild and I was getting my hopes up that he would be able to see him before he died, but God had other plans. It's been an extremely emotional time for me and I'm still having a hard time with it so just keep me in your prayers. Thank you.

Well lately, I have been "nesting" - organizing, cleaning and organizing some more when I'm at home. It seems like I'll never get everything done! I have put together some of the big items we have received and can't wait to have Rylan so he can use them! It's been a lot of fun, but the further along I get, the more worn out I get. At this point, I'm not supposed to be doing a whole lot because at my last doctor visit my blood pressure was up a little. So the doctor put me on "limited activity". We have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow to see how big Rylan is because I'm measuring big in the belly. So he may be coming sooner than we think!

We had a great time at the shower/hoe down today! Thank yous need to go out to the best parents in the world for hosting this wonderful shower at their house for us. So thank you Dad and Mom! The guys were welcome and had a great time with us! I'm very thankful for all the gifts and the wonderful time we had. I saw some family members that I hadn't seen in a while and it was a lot of fun! So thank you all for everything.

We had a great turnout for the Baby Shower Tea in Six Mile today. I was very thankful for all the wonderful gifts we received. There was a good variety of things that were given and they are all so very appreciated! Thank you to all of those who came and took time out of their Saturday to come. I enjoyed seeing everyone and had a wonderful time! THANK YOU!

A Thank You

Thank you to all of you who attended the baby shower at Sis.Tina's house. (By the way, thank you Sis. Tina for letting us use your beautiful home!) I really don't know how to describe in words how grateful I really am...as you could tell by my sobbing during the "speech". It's been a long 3 years we've been away from New Life and we miss it terribly. Even when you know you're in the will of God, sometimes it's not easy to let go. To all of my Praise Team family - those were the best years of my life and I will never forget the laughs and tough times we had. I really do appreciate your thoughtfulness in wanting to give me a shower that I will never forget. I knew I had made friends for life when I joined the praise team and we all became a big family, and for that I'm very thankful.

To all of you who are not on the praise team, but attend New Life, you are my family too! Thank you so much for taking time out of your Saturday evening to come and shower me with gifts - that were awesome by the way! God truly has blessed you when He gives you an awesome church family. I could never give back all you've given me over the years. There have been many of you who have been role models in my life and that is what is helping me be the pastor's wife and Sunday school teacher that I am today. I'm not being boastful - what ever I have become is because of special people like Sis. Sutton & Sis. Charlotte, who live a Godly example and are great leaders in the Kingdom of God. I hope that I am a third of what they are.

I think I've gotten off the subject big time, but I did want to let everyone know that I appreciate all the gifts and the wonderful party we had! I won't ever forget it!
