Pregnancy with Aislinn & Birth

It's been a fantastic year since our baby girl was born last July. The pregnancy was good but difficult. Everything was worth it in the end. Due to a blood condition which was diagnosed after our second miscarriage, I found out that I would have to give myself two heparin shots a day. This would prevent blood clots in the placenta or the umbilical cord. We got to go for frequent ultrasounds to ensure the blood flow was good. That was a plus! :) When we went for our 20 week ultrasound we found out we were having a girl and we also found out she had a cyst on her ovary. So I was then referred to the maternal fetal specialist for them to keep an eye on the cyst. The doctor told us that it could be a cancerous tumor, a cyst full of multiple things, or that it was a cyst feeding off of my hormones. I was then checked for gestational diabetes (which I was positive for) a lot earlier than usual because if it was a tumor that fed off of my hormones - the diabetes could cause it to get larger. We needed to avoid it getting larger - that was the goal. Obviously it was going to grow because she was growing, but if it got significantly bigger they would have to drain it by sticking  a huge needle into the amniotic sac and then my baby girl. That was extremely scary for us to even think about!!! We buckled down and prayed. I had to go see the specialist every two weeks to have an ultrasound. The tumor was getting bigger but not too much. I just kept praying for a miracle and for it to be gone!! Bro.Drost had come to our church to preach and he had told the story of him having a tumor and he had decided that God had made his body and he was going to praise Him regardless. Butch and I both felt like we needed that man full of faith and anointing to pray with us for our situation; and he did. Bro. Drost told us that our baby girl was going to be fine. So we kept praying and believing it. We went for our checkup and ultrasound at 32 weeks and the ultrasound tech was measuring the organs and everything as she normally does and I asked how much the cyst had grown and she said let me go get the doctor and he can look and let you know. Well the doctor came in and checked the ultrasound over and over and inside I was getting very excited because I knew God had taken that cyst away! The doctor was puzzled but told us that as far as he could see, the cyst was gone! Praise God! So when I say our girl is a miracle, she really is! After 32 weeks I had to start going every week to have a non-stress test so they could monitor Aislinn's heart rate and movement over a 20 minute period. Every test came back normal. Then the countdown was on and we only had a few days til my scheduled c-section would take place. We were so excited. Everything was perfectly normal and okay with Aislinn and we were anxious to have her in our arms! Below are some prego pictures and then our first few hours with our girl.
