Well we are winding it down....we have less than 7 weeks to go, but the growth of our little squirt has not wound down at all. In fact, he is getting bigger and bigger. But that's a good thing. I'm finding it's more and more inconvenient to do things now that I have a belly the size of a basketball in my way! Haha. But it's been well worth it. Rylan will be my reward for all the aches and pains! =) I'll be surprised if I remember any of it once I have him in my arms. Oh...I can't wait.

Kamilah Rose Spence - Born 3/16/09
Kamilah & Grandparents
My cousin Allison had her little girl yesterday and she is gorgeous! She named her Kamilah (Ca-me-luh) meaning perfect. She weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 20 3/4 in. long. I've spent the last two days holding this little baby and cuddling her and looking forward to having my own little boy very soon! Here are several pictures of our new addition to the family.
Me holding Kamilah & Rylan...hehe.

32 weeks
It's been a while since I updated on the development of our little man...or our "not so little" man. I will be 32 weeks this Saturday and one step closer to having my baby in my arms. He is about 4 lbs. now and is 17 inches long. He is trying to escape from my belly - or that's what it feels like. I know he is running out of room to rock and roll like he used to, so now all he can do is poke and prod at me and kick HARD! He gets real energetic sometimes and just does drumrolls it feels like. The hiccups are another thing that's precious in itself (unless you're trying to sleep!!) He gets those quite often now...about 4-5 times a day. At least his lungs are getting practice with the hiccups. The heavy news: I can expect our miracle-gro muffin to gain about a half a pound of weight per week from now until about two weeks before birth. That means more weight to carry around!!! But the healthier he is, the better.
I have never enjoyed anything as much as I have this pregnancy. As all of my followers know from my previous post that Butch and I had tried for about a year without getting pregnant. So when we did get pregnant, it was such a blessing and miracle. I have had rough spots in the pregnancy and the gestational diabetes has not been a walk in the park. But Rylan is worth anything I have to change or go through. He is my ultimate reward for the bumps in the road. I can not wait to have him in my arms and be the best mommy I can be for him. It's hard to believe that the pregnancy is almost over, but I'm glad to be getting closer to seeing my little man's face, hands and feet...Thank God for the reward of children.
Just thoughts....

I'm still trying to figure out if Rylan looks like Butch any...and I believe he does. Most people have said he favors me in the 4D pictures (because of the BIG cheeks), but I see Butch's looks in this 4D picture compared to the baby picture of him above. It's really neat and I'm glad he has characteristics of Butch. I started feeling bad because everyone was saying he looked like me...but I'm becoming more convinced that he is going to favor his daddy! =) I know he's going to come out just like God intends him to, but it's fun to try and figure out what he's going to look like!

More Saturday Activity
Tripp gave Butch a hard time by kicking every time Butch tried to lift his back leg. So they played Ring around the rosie pole!
I meant to post these on the same day we finished the bookshelf and toy chest, but I didn't have time. We spent some extra time outside with our little Tripp. He will be 1 year old on March 31. He "was" my pride and joy when he was born and I have invested a lot of time into him. But since I found out I was pregnant I haven't been able to mess with him very much. So Butch and Dad have tried to keep him learning new things and helping him form good habits. These are pictures of the trouble we had with him on Saturday. Butch was trying to clean out his hoofs, which he's never had done before. When he was a younger I trained him to lift his legs for me with no problem. He would lift them for you and not put up a fight, but it's been a while since anyone messed with his legs...so he gave Butch a rough time! It was fun to watch though.

Us Pregnant Girls Stick Together....
This is one of my dad's mares, Princess, who is due April 17, 2009...bless her heart, she's been pregnant since May 13, 2008!! I feel for her having to be pregnant that long, but she really doesn't have to deal with the day to day struggles I do. I'm getting to the point where shaving my legs is becoming very difficult and putting on my tennis shoes (which happen to be the only shoes that don't let my feet hurt) is a definite hassle! I don't know if she gets out of breath, but I sure do! Rylan likes to curl up on the left side of my belly and his little rear "butts up" to my rib cage and it makes it very difficult for me to sit or drive because it's very uncomfortable. So I try to push him down and he moves right back up there because that's where he likes it I reckon. I love the fact that I can know where he's at because he's getting so big now it's very evident. It's pretty neat. But anyway...I got off subject. Today, after church, we went home and Dad and Mom came over too. Dad got Princess out of the pasture and they were talking about how her little colt/filly is more on her right side than on her left and I told them I knew how she felt because Rylan is more on my left than my right. So Dad wanted to take some pictures of how obvious it was that her right side stuck out more. Then Mom told me to stand by her so she could get a picture of us pregnant girls! haha. Isn't it hilarious that we're taking pictures of me and a pregnant horse!! Well I just wanted to share some of our silliness with y'all....because it was definitely silly. =)

Finished Project
We finished a project finally!! We got the bookshelf and toy chest painted and they are in the nursery ready to be used! I'm so glad to finally be getting some things done. We had a very productive day. Butch and I started early this morning and worked hard until about 5:00 pm this evening and finally came inside. Once we were inside we started cleaning house, washing clothes, vacuuming (until my vacuum decided to quit working for no reason!!), and washing dishes. Then I cooked supper for us - tacos! (real easy and fast!) Now I'm ready to get these hurting feet and aching back to bed...'Night!
